We are delighted to be once again offering the most affordable Great North Run Camping accomodation options for 2024’s race!

South Shields Westoe Sports Ground offers a secure campsite within our sports pitches and just ten minutes from the finish line.

We are also a two-minute walk from a metro station offering 20-minute connections into Newcastle City Centre. 

Our campsite is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night and there is a discount available for three-night packages. Prices for 2024 will be confirmed at a later date.

The price includes your camping, access to our facilities, parking, and meals. There will be breakfast on offer each morning, a BBQ on the Saturday night, and a buffet after Sunday’s race. We are open to campervans, caravans, and tents.
